Celebrity Gossip — Good Or Bad?

People know more about Paris Hilton, than they do President Bush. Celebrities are at all times in the news for a wide range of totally different reasons. They might be getting drunk, and making a idiot out of themselves (Mel Gibson), or getting a divorce (Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro), or almost dropping their baby in the street (Britney Spears). No matter they are doing, we’re all tuned to observe, and listen to the celeb gossip.

More often than not the one superstar gossip that seems on tv concerns something bad that has happened, or some mistake a celebrity has made. The general public likes to watch figures in the spotlight fall on their face, because it brings them back all the way down to earth with the remainder of us. Additionally it seems that we like to provide air time to celebrities so they can complain about the way the federal government is being run. We can setup a big discussion board to let celebrities speak about how the war in Iraq is incorrect, however we can not take 5 minutes to tell the soldiers that are fighting there how a lot we admire them for what they’re doing. I would like to assist change the view about South African Celebrities and write about some celebrity gossip of a special flavor.

Towards the beginning of the war in Iraq, Densel Washington made a trip to a hospital in Fort Sam Houston, Texas to see a few of the injured soldiers. While he was there he noticed that the hospital was crowded and the doctors there wanted more supplies. Densel told the soldiers on the hospital that help would be on the way. About six months later, he gave a sizable donation to the Fisher House Basis Inc., which helps households of hospitalized military personnel. I by no means heard any gossip about this on the superstar news channels. The one time I heard about this great act of generosity was in an e mail from someone else that was trying to spread the good word. I think we’d all really feel a little bit bit higher about celebrities if the superstar gossip shows would try to report on more uplifting tales like this one.
